Cymbidium (cut)

Cymbidium (cut) is cultivated in temperature-controlled Dutch greenhouses across North and South Holland, where decades of breeding have produced the most consistent grade in the global trade. Each stem is harvested at the optimal bud stage, graded for length and uniformity, and brought to auction within hours.

Expected vase life is 10–14 days when stored at 4–6°C with clean water and a standard cut-flower preservative. Stems should be re-cut on arrival and kept away from ripening fruit. For retail display, rotate stock daily and maintain ambient temperatures below 18°C.
